Interiors by Mika is an award-winning design studio specializing in residential interiors. We provide traditional, in-home design services for local clients and offer e-design services nationwide. Working with a diverse clientele—including first-time home buyers and real estate investors—we excel at blending design styles and materials to create warm, inviting spaces that truly feel like home. Our mission is to craft beautiful, functional, and comfortable interiors that reflect each client’s unique personality, taste, and lifestyle while delivering timeless and innovative designs.
In 2021, interiors by Mika’s Roscoe village single family home project won 1st place in MIDAS 2020 Design Awards.
In 2018, Interiors by Mika has been selected by Lux Life Magazine within their 2018 Leading Designers Awards and have been awarded the title: Most Outstanding Range of Interior Design Services - Illinois.
About Mika:
Hi, I’m Mika—a wife, mother, and award-winning interior designer with a deep-rooted passion for design. Growing up in a creative household and influenced by my mother’s work as a designer, I developed an appreciation for beautiful, functional spaces early on. After earning a B.A. in social science and gaining valuable experience as an account executive at Saatchi & Saatchi, I ultimately followed my heart back to design. In 2009, I graduated with highest honors from Chicago’s Harrington College with an associate degree in Interior Design. Since then, I’ve been committed to crafting fresh, inviting spaces that blend modern aesthetics with thoughtful details. My greatest joy comes from transforming houses into homes and seeing the excitement on my clients' faces as they experience their reimagined spaces.
