Interiors by Mika is an award winning interior design studio specializing in residential Interior Design.
We offer traditional, In-Home, design services for our local clients and E-design services for U.S nationwide clients. We work with a variety of clients, including first time home buyers and real estate investors, and we are able to blend design styles and materials to create a living space that will make you feel at home. Our mission is to design beautiful, functional and comfortable living spaces that define and express our client's personality, tastes and needs, while providing timeless and innovative interiors.
In 2021, interiors by Mika’s Roscoe village single family home project won 1st place in MIDAS 2020 Design Awards.
In 2018, Interiors by Mika has been selected by Lux Life Magazine within their 2018 Leading Designers Awards and have been awarded the title: Most Outstanding Range of Interior Design Services - Illinois.
About Mika:
Hi! I am Mika. A wife, a mother and an award winning interior designer.
I love design, I love aesthetic artifacts and I especially love beautiful homes. My passion for interior design has begun in my early childhood, as I grew up in a home bursting with creative energy, and I credit my mother (a talented interior designer herself), who exposed me to the world of design and creativity. After earning my B.A. in social science and working for a few years as an account executive at Saatchi and Saatchi advertising agency, I decided to pursue my early passion for design and in 2009 I graduated with highest honor from Chicago's Harrington College, earning an associate degree in Interior Design. I enjoy mixing design styles and with extraordinary attention for details and keen eye for scale and proportion, I create unique, fresh and inviting spaces that result with happy and satisfied clients.
